Yay, I got the CE too and it didn't have delay in my shop

I'm still doubting though, sell it to buy 15k for my 6 chars, or keep it and show off...

whats more scary, this dragon that nuked eveyone in the beta event or evil Gwen with her endless supply of firestorm? As for this mini pet idea, would we get more different pets on different birthday?

As for this collector edition, i can't wait till i get mine and get the mini dragon!

The thing about selling this pet is that only ONE is per account meaning you can make all 4 pve characters but only the main one that you created will get it. So selling it would be up to the players that owned the account. Since there is only 1, people might not be willing to risk a rare mini for 100K + tons of ectos for it. Than again, golds are useful now in factions for those who is collecting armors such as 15k armors type.

Well, I guess we can consider it an Alliance mascot. Chuck is still the guild mascot lol.. For those that don't know, I have a level 20 pig (warthog) that I capped in pre-searing named Chuck Norris. He used to be called Worf, but I renamed him. And yes, he has done the Drok's run with me a few times, much to the dissatisfaction of friends trying to run with me (he would block them at choke points causing them to die before he continued running with me lol). In fact those very friends have gone of specific warthog hunts in the jungle just because of him lol...

EDIT: In regards to the posts above talking about their pets, my characters have 1) Hearty Warthog - Chuck Norris, 2) Hearty Strider - Tiamat, 3) Hearty Dune Lizard - Charizard, 4) Elder Black Widow - Capn Stabbin.. :-)

This is pretty cool, I really hope the mini version flies around. For those of you who think that now the collector's edition is merely extra money to get a game with an item you can sell for 100K + more ectos than you can count, consider this: Who in the game would be stupid enough to sell it? I mean, it doesn't do much, but now you can brag about your patience in waiting for a CE in outposts while dancing AND in explorable areas with a dragon in a holding pattern above your head.

I would buy one just for having, gold is nothing to me but an item that I like is worth more.

I was just about to say screw it and get the regular edition...if my other chars weren't going to benefit from the CE upgrade I was about to say forget it cuz who wants to wait till June to make their RT or Sin? Then shell out $60 so they have a cool dance? Not me :S

Way to go ArenaNet - I haven't been convinced as a PvE player that I like Factions that much...between the confusing streets and closed portals and THEN the elite missions exclusions...I have to say responding quickly to your annoyed vip CE customers was a very good move.

Dragon mini pet FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!
